Rockstar Chick

I was once a "rockstar" way back in High School. I'm inlove with alternative rock songs and because of my love with music, I learned how to play guitar. Before, my usual get up is just a shirt, skinny jeans and a pair of chucks and of course, my favorite color back then is black.

Print

It is never easy to mix and match two printed pieces for me. First, I'm curious about what would be other people's reactions and Second is that, I don't even know if it would look good on me. So here's my first attempt of trying out a print on print outfit.

Btw, I got my top from my favorite thrift shop in Bayan, Marikina.
My bodycon skirt is from my online shop Nica's Closet. I'm not actually fond of wearing skirt but my mom told me that "bagay" naman daw because I'm tall and I have a big butt. By the way, the skirt's fabric is cotton stretch. Very comfy to wear and it can fit medium to extra large frames because it's very stretchable and the good thing is, the print doesn't fade not like the other printed skirts that are sold out there. Since this is my blog, and I have all the power to promote my shop here, I'll just grab this opportunity so you would know more about my online shop. Nica's Closet is a direct selling online shop. We manufacture and produce our own products that's why we can offer products that would cater everyone. We also accept made to orders especially for the plus size women out there like me! Anyway, if you want to see our collections, please feel free to visit our fb page: facebook.com/nicsscloset or you could follow us on instagram: @nicaascloset

Have you noticed my newly cut hair? Does it look good on me? Huhu. It was cut shorter than I want. By the way, It would grow naman.
Thank you for reading my blog!

My Version of DIY Shorts.

Okay! So Hi again everyone! Sorry if it took me a long time to post another blog.. Anyway, I did some DIY earlier because I saw a video in Youtube about the DIY ombre shorts.. And I was thinking of doing my own and it ended up like this.. So here's what I did..

Choose your pants that you are not using anymore.
This is the only pants I want to let go because it faded already. I used this for almost 3 years.

Measure and Cut.
It depends on your preferred length.

Design.
It's up to you what design you want to do with your shorts.
I used this canvass cloth because of its very cute design. It's actually for the shoe sample I was supposed to make. Haha
Sew the cloth to your shorts
Add more detail by cutting some parts of the shorts.
Use thong so you could pull out the small threads from your shorts.

Theeen,, Tadaaaa! Here's my own version of DIY Shorts! Very easy right? Just be creative and you'll definitely get what you want!
Oh by the way, as you can see at the left photo, there are small details with the pocket. I added some beads with it. Thank you for reading this blog! Be creative and Be fashionista! :)

DUTDUTAN 13

Last September 27, I was given a chance to attend one of the biggest events celebrated annually "Dutdutan".
Excited much to get inside the convention :)))

I was invited by Ate Mai Mai, Kuya Van and Kuya Vien.

We arrived at the World Trade Center at around 10 pm I don't why we went there so early. Hehe.

For those who don't know what's happening and what's inside Dutdutan, you can see here in the picture the booths that are being rented by different tattoo artists both local and international. Every booth and every artist who wants to join the contest must have their own models the tattoo session must be done on the same day. The contest have different categories and I don't even know what are those. Wahaha.
There are also live performances from different groups and artists. But sad to say, I didn't had the chance to watch all of them because we left the convention early.

Go girls performing live heating up the fire

Aside from watching different activities inside the venue, I also had the chance to meet new people and some of the popular artists as well.

Sir Myke Sambajon

Oww even the well known media persons.

Ms. Kat De Castro

Mr. Bobby Yan

Artists from US and Singapore

I also encountered this person who has his small piggy bank at his left arm to collect money from the people who wants to take a photo with him. I was surprised when he told me that I should donate small amount. And I was like "Okay, business." Nyahaha.
Monching the businessman. :))))

And this is me during Dutdutan. Enjoying everything I see. :))

Sorry if this post became a photo album. Haha. This experience would be marked as one the most unforgettable. By the way, I don't have tattoos and I don't even know why I adore people who have it. Maybe in the near future I'll get my dream back piece. I hope. Someday someday. :)) Anyway, I don't have anything to share anymore. Thanks for reading this none sense post. Haha! :))

Ruffles and Dots

I always want to take photos of myself wearing the clothes I love. People say that I'm a fashionista and I don't believe them because I know I'm not. I just wear what I think is comfortable and that would make me feel beautiful. All I always want is to let people see that even if I'm not that "sexy woman" guys admire, I could still carry myself and show them that I'm confident with my body.

Here's my first outfit post.

My BIG Heart.

One of the reasons why I want to blog is because I want to share my love for fashion. I'm a chubby girl and honestly it's hard to get sizes of clothes that would fit my body. My mom told me that I started gaining weight when I was 7 years old. So It just mean that I was fat almost my whole entire life.

This photo was taken on an April fool's day. I was in 2nd year college and I can't remember my weight though but I know my waistline reached 42 inches then. Imagine how big is 42 inches.

Year after, I decided to loose weight. Tadaaaa. Yaiks! This is actually the slimmest I reached. 28 inch waistline. Still fat.

Sad to say, I failed to maintain this body and now, my waistline is 30 inches yeaaah, yeaaaahhh.. But I'm good with it. There are still clothes that fits me. Atleast. Nyahahaha. I'm happy with my looks and how I carry myself. I'm contented with this body.

By the way, this is me now.

I have a big body that carries a big heart.

thank you for reading.
